- Last time Rob was behind the wheel of a Radical was in 2008, that seems like a life time ago now. When you are given the opportunity to drive a Radical SR3 at Spa Francorchamps, that is a offer that is impossible to turn down. Thanks to Castle Combe GT regular, Martin Phillipson, we are going to be racing at Spa Francorchamps on the 1st/2nd October in a special "One Hour Challenge" race. The race will be a mix of all types of cars, similar to the GT races at Combe, and with upto 60 cars on the grid it promises to be a great spectacle.
- Rob finally got behind the wheel of a Radical at a very very wet Castle Combe. The day proved that Rob still remembered the way around the Wiltshire circuit and more importantly how to drive the Radical. The SR3 is a far more advanced car vs the old Clubsport and this was shown in some very quick lap times, over 6 seconds quicker than the Clubsport in similar conditions. Spa in October could very likely be wet so this was good practice. A quick vidio of the first few laps at Combe are here
